Summer 2017

Ms. Norton and two MES Associates implemented the summer RISE academy for a second year.   Funding from the Aberdeen Rotary Club and the Mayor of Aberdeen made the RISE program possible for thirty-one 7th and 8th grade students at Aberdeen Middle School. This program, designed by Ms. Norton, mentors students by focusing on the Mind, Body, and Soul of each participant.

Summer 2016

MES was awarded a Prime Contract with DoDEA to revise Honors World Literature and World History courses for Grades 9 and 10.  This required developing standards-based scope and sequence using the Understanding by Design (UbD) framework.  Rigorous model lesson plans were developed to incorporate real world connections and research-based methodologies.
